Join the Black Broadway and RDU local community as they perform inspirational songs at the Darkness RISING: Live 5 Block Party! The 5th annual concert benefits Darkness RISING Nonprofit, a 501(c)3 organization which provides direct mental health resources to the Black community.

The event will be in Durham Central Park in Durham, NC.

Enjoy a live concert, free dance class, wellness workshops, vendor marketplace, food trucks, live music, giveaways, a DJ and more. Hosted by Carly Jones, this event is free and open to the public.

Darkness RISING: Live is a benefit concert featuring the Black Broadway and RDU local community performing inspirational songs for Black mental health and Black mental health providers as guest speakers. This exciting event is hosted by Darkness RISING Project Nonprofit, a Black-led 501(c)3 organization which provides direct mental health resources to the Black community. Past performers include stars from the Black Broadway community from shows such as HAMILTON, DREAMGIRLS WEST END, AIN'T TOO PROUD, ALADDIN, LES MISERABLES, THE COLOR PURPLE, THE LION KING and more.
